This page describes how Aventura Condo Rental ("we", "us", "the site") handles personal information when you visit aventuracondorental.com or send us an inquiry.

Who we are

Aventura Condo Rental is owned and operated by Oliver Weickardt as a sole proprietor at 3245 NE 184th Street, Aventura, Florida 33160, United States. You can reach us at [email protected] or +1 786 916 0354.

What information we collect

Through the inquiry form

When you submit the inquiry form on this site, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Your travel details: which apartment you're interested in, move-in date, approximate stay length, number of adults and children, primary purpose of stay
  • Any free-text notes you choose to provide

Technical metadata logged with each inquiry

For security and fraud prevention, we automatically record alongside each inquiry:

  • Your IP address
  • Your browser's user-agent string
  • The date and time of submission

This information is stored in our WordPress database as a private custom post type that only site administrators can view. Retention periods for these fields are listed below under How long we keep your information.

What we don't collect

This site has no analytics tracking, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers as of April 2026. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any equivalent tool.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your rental inquiry
  • Prepare a custom quote for your stay
  • Communicate with you about a potential or active rental
  • Coordinate with a real estate broker if one introduced you to us (see below)
  • Comply with applicable tax and rental regulations

We do not use your inquiry information for any other purpose. If we ever introduce a previous-guest newsletter or seasonal update, we will request your explicit opt-in consent at that time.

Who we share your information with

Brokers and referral partners

If a licensed real estate broker introduced you to us, we may share the context of your inquiry with that broker as part of our brokerage relationship. Brokers are bound by their own privacy obligations under Florida real estate licensing rules and are responsible for their own handling of your data.

The community office (HOA)

If you proceed to reserve an apartment, the gated community's management office requires a tenant application. You complete this application directly with the HOA — we do not transmit your information to them on your behalf. Any data you submit to the HOA is governed by their privacy practices, which we do not control.

Email service

Inquiry confirmations are delivered through our hosting server's standard mail service. We do not currently use a third-party transactional email relay (such as Mailgun, SendGrid, or Postmark). Replies you receive from Oliver are sent from his own email server at [email protected].

Hosting provider

This site is hosted on infrastructure provided by Contabo. Standard server access logs (IP, request path, timestamp) are retained by the hosting provider for 30 days, per Contabo's standard hosting terms.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for any purpose.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies on first load

This site sets no cookies on a first-time visitor. The only cookies that may be set are those WordPress uses to keep an admin user logged in, which never apply to public visitors.

Fonts

Typography is served from this site's own server. We do not load fonts from any third-party service such as Google Fonts. No font request leaves the aventuracondorental.com domain.

iCal calendar feeds

This site does not currently expose iCal availability feeds publicly.

How long we keep your information

  • Inquiry form submissions: stored as private posts in WordPress for two years from the inquiry date, or until the related stay has been completed plus three years for tax records, whichever is later.
  • IP address and user-agent: 90 days, unless flagged for security review.
  • Email correspondence: three years from the last message in the thread.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion of your information
  • The right to object to or restrict our processing
  • The right to data portability

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with your request. We will respond within 30 days, the standard window under both the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, restrict administrative access to the site, and limit who can view inquiry submissions. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we follow reasonable practices to protect the information we hold.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting how we process your data, we will post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
